Hanna Forsting, LMT

Hi, I’m Hanna! I’m a women-focused licensed massage therapist, doula, and somatic practitioner with a passion for creating a space where women can slow down, feel supported, and reconnect with themselves. I believe our bodies hold so much wisdom, and my work is centered around listening to that wisdom through compassionate touch, nervous system support, and somatic practices. Whether you’re coming to me for massage, support through a transition, or simply a moment to reconnect with yourself, my goal is always to make you feel comfortable, heard, and cared for.

Outside of my work, I’m someone who finds a lot of joy in the little things. I love getting creative and crafting, tending to my ever-growing collection of plants, listening to music, going to concerts, and spending time with my friends and family. My dog and two cats are a huge part of my life, and I’m always happiest when I’m surrounded by the people, animals, and things that make me feel at home. I’m also an avid reader, especially when I can find a book that combines a little romance with a good thriller.

At the heart of everything I do is my love for connection. Connection to ourselves, to others, and to the things that make us feel most like ourselves. I’ve always been drawn to creating spaces that feel warm, intentional, and grounded, whether that’s through caring for a plant, making something with my hands, or holding space for another person. I want my practice to feel like a place where you can take a breath, let your guard down, and simply be, and I’m grateful to do work that allows me to support, nurture, and empower others along the way.

Why Ground & Gather?

The name Ground & Gather reflects the heart of my work: helping you come back into your body and reconnect with yourself. Ground represents feeling rooted, present, and connected; to your body, to your breath, and the moment you’re in when we are in session. Gather represents bringing yourself back together; your energy, your awareness, your sense of self, and the parts of you that may feel disconnected.

Together, Ground & Gather represents the belief that healing doesn’t always have to mean fixing something. Sometimes, it means slowing down, listening inward, and creating enough space to hear what your body is asking for. My hope is that this practice can be a place where you feel supported, cared for, and safe enough to simply hear what your body has been trying to tell you the whole time.

Ground in your body. Gather in your spirit.
